Booking Process

To ensure a smooth and comfortable boarding experience for dogs, while prioritizing their well-being and security as our boarding is a home like open environment.

Please note

  • Continuous assessment of the dog's behavior should occur during all stages.
  • Maintain open communication with the dog owner, providing updates on their dog's progress and well-being.
  • Adjust care protocols based on individual dog needs, ensuring a great boarding experience for the dog and peace of mind for the pet parent.

Objective: 
Evaluate the dog's behavior, health, and compatibility with the boarding environment. 

Steps: 

  • Schedule an initial assessment appointment with the dog owner. 
  • Discuss the dog’s history, including medical records, behavior traits, and any special needs. 
  • Conduct a meet-and-greet to observe the dog's temperament and behavior with staff and other dogs. 
  • Document relevant details in the dog's profile for reference during boarding

Objective: 
Allow the dog to become familiar with the boarding environment in a controlled manner. 

Steps: 

  • Schedule a half-day acclimatization session. 
  • Introduce the dog to the boarding space, including play areas, resting areas, and feeding zones. 
  • Monitor the dog's behavior for signs of stress or anxiety. 
  • Engage the dog in light activities to promote comfort and trust with the environment and staff. 

Objective: 
Provide further adjustment time for dogs that showed signs of stress during the initial acclimatization. 

Steps: 

  • If required, schedule a second half-day acclimatization session. 
  • Repeat introductions and activities to reinforce a sense of safety and familiarity. 
  • Continue monitoring the dog’s comfort level and behavior.

Objective: 
Ensure the dog is completely comfortable spending the night in the boarding space. 

Steps: 

  • Schedule an overnight acclimatization following successful half-day acclimatizations. 
  • Provide a safe and cozy sleeping area, along with any familiar items (toys, blankets). 
  • Monitor the dog throughout the night to ensure comfort and address any needs. 
  • Document the dog's overnight behavior and any concerns for the owner.
